**Protect Me is LIVE**

It’s LIVE!  It’s LIVE!  It’s LIVE!

*throws confetti*

Nate Stevens loves three things: Work, Family, Women. In that order. Having absolutely no desire to follow in three of his siblings’ footsteps by settling down, Nate lives for his work as a firefighter. That’s why his chance meeting with Lia leaves him unsettled like never before. There’s just something about the beautifully shy and reserved woman that he can’t walk away from.

Run. Hide. Keep moving. That’s exactly what Lia Walker has done for the last nine months. Escaping from her past, Lia continues to move from place to place before finding herself in the small town of Rivers Edge, Missouri. Following a chance encounter with her new boss’ brother, Nate, which leaves Lia feeling confused and vulnerable for the first time in months, Lia has to make a decision: to run or to stay.

When pasts are finally exposed, Nate and Lia find themselves at a crossroads. Nate will do anything to protect Lia from her past, but the question remains: Will Lia let him? When Lia’s past finally catches up with her, will running be the only way to protect the ones they love most in this world?

I still can’t believe we are 4 full novels (and one novella) into the Rivers Edge series! Thank you for joining me on this journey! I hope you enjoy Nate’s story. This one was the most difficult to write. It’s a little deeper and darker than the previous books in the series. A very serious subject is at the heart of the story. There were times when I cried for the characters as I wrote as I was pulled into their pain and sorrow. But, it’s not all sad. There are plenty of happy moments…a wedding…a baby announcement…and plenty of steamy sexy time scenes. Oh, and you also might find out the answer to the burning question…Who really is Bean’s favorite uncle??  😉  I hope you enjoy Nate & Lia’s journey. It’s a difficult, yet beautiful story!

Until Next Time…  Lacey ❤

  1. Lacey, I just finished it! WOW! I am blown away. Garrett has made my top list of fictional characters I want to beat the crap out of.

My list is 1. Mark/Justin from Reaching Rachel by LL Collins. 2. Ronan from Twisted Souls/Twisted Paths by LL Collins. 3. Garrett

It’s very rare that a book with a fictional villain evokes such strong emotion in me where I want to reach into the book and wail on them. Also the depth and power of emotion when Lia tells Nate about her past and why she is running ripped out my heart. I hope you are happy with your self! 😊 I felt the rage and anger along with Nate at what Lia has gone through.

Well done. I am thrilled that I found your books and you are becoming one of my favorite authors.

That is a remarkable gift that you have and I am envious and jealous at the same time. I greatly enjoy your River’s Edge series and look forward to more stories. As a author myself, your writing humbles me and inspires me to be better.

    Thanks, Greg
